About: The USS Pampanito is a United States Submarine that was active during World War II.
It is open to the public 7 days a week. Beyond The Fog has a special relationship with The USS Pampanito and can arrange a tour of the vessel after hours. The person who gives the tours for Beyond The Fog is a long-serving board member of the Maritime Museum Association. He knows all about the Pampanito and paints a very visual picture of what it was like to be on the submarine in very close quarters for months at a time. Going on this tour makes you feel as if you are making a movie about a submarine. It is an excellent tour that immerses you in a vitally interesting part of history and it is well worth re- visiting or learning about for the first time.
