The other night I attended an Event at MoAD and I was early so I wondered into the Ferry Building for a bit, and to my surprise I happened upon A big joyous party at the Ferry Building open to the public with drink tickets, and of course food for days! the Ferry Building Vendors all stayed open late and extra vendors were selling samples of their wonderful food, my first thought was why doesn’t MoAD just come here!..It was like a Film Festival so many people all milling aimlessly about nibbling on everything that they passed.. on nights like this the tourist looked shocked its as they are saying…”hey locals go home this is our area!” and the locals act as if they are in a hurry and too cool to taste and then something catches their eye and they taste away and look around like a tourist.. It was a very sweet happening, jumping Ferry Building on a February Evening… with the Bay Light smiling in the backround…
The Ferry Building has a calender of events and apparently there are quiet a few…evenings planned for 2013…
